Zach Martin will be taking over as the Head Coach of the AcadamyELITE Nationals in 2011. He is by far the best thing that has ever happened to the world--maybe outside of Jonas Salk (I hear he did some things). After compiling a record of 7,003-8 (seriously, who keeps such things), he looks to take on the threat of North Korea by running in off-speed counts and letting his pitchers call their own games.

But seriously now, this will be Coach Martin's 8th summer as a Head Coach, 5th at AcademyELITE. His number one goal as Director of Baseball Operations at AE is getting his kids signed at the college level. He takes pride in being a true player's coach with a philosophy that a "loose player is a good player." Coach Martin gets the most out his players by understanding that each kid needs to be coached differently. Team chemistry has also been a staple of a Coach Martin led team. "Play loose, play hard, play smart. Win on three." "Chicks!"

Coach Theron actually has no knowledge of baseball nor any unique qualifications that would make her suitable as a member of the Nationals coaching staff.  That said, she is really HOT so we felt she would be a great addition to our ballclub.
